| My father is having difficulties with bowel incontinence, please help, it's annoying! I am worried for his health, who knows what have caused his problems. He is 84 years old and barely walking, so it is hard for us to make him visit a doctor, so we called one to come tomorrow. Still, I would like to know what we could expect. |

| Your father's condition can have many causes. We can talk about standard constipation, damaged anal sphincter muscles (muscle and/or nerve that innervates it), diarrhea, lessened rectum storage capacity. You do know that his causes cannot be determined without proper examinations and tests. When the cause is found, doctor will prescribe the therapy and medicaments for your father. |
