My boyfriend has been heavily drinking for over 2 months now. He has lost his job. His family and I have begged him to get help. All of th eplaces I have called have said that he HAS to want the help or there is nothing that can be done.

Somone...........anyone... please HELP me. What do I do ?

Hello emdie_99, I can understand your condition. It’s very sad that your boyfriend has become an addict so badly. But the most unfortunate thing is your boyfriend is not at all aware of this simple fact that this will damage his well being. And unless and until he feels this from within, no one can really help him completely. So firstly, make him realize that what he is doing is not good at all and that it can even ruin his life. Then, what you can do is, take him for some rehabilitation programs. I’m sure once he reaches there, he will feel much better. I hope this will help you, for the time being.
