Crying or Very sad I started taking Seasonale last February and have experienced some breakthrough bleeding as expected however, my husband and I are going on a cruise which I have planned around this whole thing and now I am bleeding when I shouldn't be. Is there anything I can do to make it stop or slow down?

thanks!

they say to continue your pills regardless of breakthrough, but i found that when i came off it for a few days and allowed for a period, that i had no more throughout the cycle. it's predominantly caused by a build up of the endometrium in your uterus (blood lining), and by allowing a period, you flush it out faster. I hope this helps you out and isn't too late for you to do. Good luck and happy sailing!
