Brown Spots?

My girlfriend and I for the past few days after sex have been finding brown residue on the condom. It also showed up on my boxer shorts. Is it blood? And if it is, what does this mean? She's late a couple of days for her period, but I think its due to the stress of these spots. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi! What are the spots like? Do they look like stains, are they wet, are there any clots on the condom.

I reckon this is just an old blood getting out of her uterus or blood indicating arrival of her period and that it is nothing serious. It shouldn’t be because it is happening prior to her period and it hasn’t lasted that long. If you are worried that it could be implantation bleeding, I don’t think it is the case because this kind of spotting usually last for just one day. Does she have the spotting on her panties as well, or is it only after sex that you notice them?
If this happens only after sex, it could indicate an inflammation of the cervix, or some abnormal cells on the cervix that need to be checked. But I reckon that you should wait for her period. If the same thing happens after the period, then she should have it checked at the gynecologist.
