Hello. I'm 26 year old female and I have worried about one thing. You see, about two months ago I have found out that I'm pregnant. My husband and whole my family were thrilled when they found out.
Everything was going just fine but just the other day I have noticed some strange brown spotting and that really scared me.
A friend of mine, who was also pregnant last year, has noticed the same thing and it was a sign of early miscarriage.
Please tell me that this could be also a normal thing and that I will not lose my baby!

I understand you are worried because this can represent a very stressful situation to any pregnant woman. You see, spotting brown blood is an indication of old, dry blood that is for some reason in the cervix and it’s quite normal. This can also be a sign of tissue tearing
during sexual intercourse or some gynecological examination.
You should also know that brown spotting is perfectly normal in early pregnancy. The right medical term is implantation bleeding.
So, you have probably no reasons to be worried. Carry on with your pregnancy and try to avoid stressful situations because it is proven that it can harm you child. I would not be alarmed about this, especially if the ultrasound findings indicate all is proceeding normally.

| Well, I'm having the same problem sort of. Except, I'm not pregnant, not on the pill and I'm still a virgin. I ended my period 2 weeks ago and now I'm having brown clumpy spotting. I have no idea why and I've never experienced it before. Would that also be old, dry blood in the cervix? |

| It is hard to say, this spotting could be normal or it could be early signs of a miscarriage, unfortunately. If the spotting goes on and doesn't become heavy or red like menstraul blood do not worry. If you start to experience cramps, or become not hungry anymore it could be a miscarriage. I had one at 6 1/2 weeks and it started with brown spotting. But things will go the way they should, also you and your body will definitely know if something is wrong, you can just feel it. Hello, The Facts i'm very worries about myself due i had a Brown Discharges for couples of day but i has finishes my peroid last weeks..i do taking birth controls pills actually i takes it on times so what is going on? Please lets me know the details

| Well when i found out i was five weeks pregnant i started to spot redish pink for about a week. Now im about seven weeks and now im spotting brown is ther something wrong with me? I went to the doctor and he didnt say much so im kinda of confused.... |
