Brown discharge for weeks.. not normal I am sure

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what could be causing my symptons. I have made a Drs appoitment but I dont have it for another 10 days and am getting curious if anyone else knows about this. I had my period in Mid august and when it finished I was having some brown discharge which I thought was normal until it simply didnt stop. I had this brown dischrage for two weeks and then seemed to get my full out period again. Now that has finished but the brown discharge hasnt. It has no smell and I have no itching or burning. I am 27 years old and went off the pill last year and have not had sex since July (and it was protected). Any suggestions????
