Buldging Disk Problem

I am a 33 yr old woman & I have had pain in my lower back for a year which effected my sciatic so I would have throbbing pain in my lower back & pain shooting down my leg. After countless trips to the ER (with no insurance) I finally had an MRI that showed I had a buldging disk in the lower lumbar area. I had a very painful cortisone shot right above my tail bone & the Orthopidic did not prescribe me anything for the pain, when the novicane wore off in my back 6 hours latter all I could do was cry. The next day I felt 99% better but their was still a slight pain. I was due for my period 2 weeks after the shot & it never came. I was intimate with my husband & started to spot for a day or two but then it went away. We were intamite again a few nights later & I spotted again & since then 8/10/07, it hadn't stopped so there is a brownish spotting going on with no period. Finally I get my period on 9/15 for 6 days & STILL spotting after that. Yesterday 9/29 I get my period again! What is this? I made an appointment to the OBGYN & I hope to get an appointment soon but I am afraid that they can't do a pap smere due to the bleeding. I am thinking this is related to the cortisone shot I had. Which by the way I am still having pain in the back of my leg. Anyone know anything about this?[/i]
