Hi. I'm 26 year old female and I have some serious health problems. I have never had problems of this kind and really don’t know what to do about it.
For at least the last two months I started to suffer from extreme cramping in my lower abdominal region. It occurred almost every time just before my menstruation.
I know that some women have these pains before their periods regularly but not me- I have never had any problems associated with my periods and they were pretty mild all the time. I contacted my gynecologist over this and he told that it is nothing unusual and prescribed me some pain killers. But I still feel those pains and I even noticed that with time they are becoming stronger and stronger. What should I do?

First of all, I'm not so satisfied with the way you gynecologist treated you. He didn’t do any testing and just prescribed pain killers. That’ was so unprofessional.
Many things could cause you this pain. I suggest you to do some testings such as papa smear and some scan.
You could have developed a condition called bulky uterus where the uterus become a bit bigger because of fibroid ingrowth’s on it. It almost always causes very strong pains and cramps!
Papa test will discover all malignant changes.
The cause could be also some cyst on your uterus or ovaries that is a very common diagnosis among younger women also.
My suggestion- find your self another gynecologist and let him do a papa smear and scan and you will know what is the cause of your pain.
