I had a weekend of sex after having none for half a year. Both of our pre-sex exams came back free. No germs so that is not an issue.

Within a few days, it felt like the skin between the lips and around the vaginal opening were sunburned. Since I used a tanning bed, I assumed I messed up and burned there. Now, 8 days later, it is burning more, and a tear in the skin occurred on the right side of the skin. Urination burned it like heck.

Wiping after going the bathroom is extremely painful.

I started my period three days ago, but before that, there was NO unusual discharge. No odd odors.

Has anyone experienced this? I haven't had ANY infections in many many years and am wondering if I might have got one now and just need to go buy some monistat for when the period ends.

Ideas?
