Burning anal and penis sensation

Hi guys, for sometime now i have been experiencing at the same time, some burning sensations at the anus and penis. I have seen my doctor on numerous occassions on this but his therapy seems to be doing me no good. What could be the cause of this.It usually happen between 2-4 am. For your info i am 28yrs old.
