I have a constant burning pain like sharp glass in the vulva area always. I can take a pain killer to get rid of it, but, it is still there when the medicine wears off. It all started two years ago when I had a uterine ablation. Does anyone else have this? I have had every test done that is possible and there are no infections ..... I'm miserable. I am also not sexually active and have begun menopause. My abdomen is also bloated and I feel an almost unbearable ache in my lower back and abdomen throughout the day. Soaking in a tub is about the only real relief I get. Can anyone offer in direction or advice? (Note: I have already been through all the treatments for IC and none of that worked, in case you are wondering.)

I have this condition and the best thing I have found is Aloe vera gel. 99.9%
Aloe gel. The condition is called Vulvodynia. You have to put the gel on after urinateing and rinseing and drying. EVERY TIME. Aloe iworks better than steroids. It is best not to wear undies or slacks.

I too had this condition. I went from doctor to doctor and had every test and tried every treatment and nothing worked. Doctors could not find a medical reason for the pain. The reason being the pain was a symptom of a spiritual issue. Spirit first whispers, then talks, then shouts but we are too busy to listen. The only way spirit can get our attention is to cause pain. The reason doctors can not find a physical reason is because there isn't one and doctors do not work with spirit. To heal the physical problem become aware the physical pain is a result of a spiritual issue. If the spiritual issue is resolved the pain will go away.
Pain is a form of communication. Go within and ask.
I was grieving a loss when my pain began. I told myself if I got better I would find joy in my life. I had it backwards. I had to find joy, and then I would feel better. Once I started finding joy in my life again my pain began to leave. The short answer is change how you think. Stop seeing or feeling you are less than. I have now been pain free two years.
