Burning sensation when urinating

I had oral sex with a girl about 6 days ago, i havent slept with anyone else for many months however today when i try and urinate i get a stinging/burning sensation at the tip of my penis

Its not sore to touch but if you squeeze the end theres a little more discomfort than usual

There are no spots or anything though its a little redder at the tip, there is no discharge (yet)

I do have a sore throat but i have suffered from a cold/cough the last few weeks so possibly related to that

Is this something to worry about ? If its an STD would it take 6 days to kick in ?

Generally Stds take longer to develop than a week but it is possibly an std that you contracted months or years ago like Chlamydia or Gonorrhea. It could also be some other kind of urinary tract infection or even something else. Your best bet is to get this checked out as soon as possible because most of these stds get much worse in time.

To answer your question herpes is a 2-6 day incubation period. Bumps are not required. If you are in pain while urinating you need to go to the doctor.
