Hi, I'm 22 years old and I have recently gained some weight. All that fat seems to be stuck to my but and as a result of that my butt has gotten bigger than usual so now I have a problem of wearing my favorite jeans and other clothes. I would really like to be able to wear those clothes again so I tried doing some workout in the gym and also at home to melt off the fat on my butt. I have failed to do so up till now. Can anyone recommend some effective butt excercises that I can do at home that would finally melt the fat off? Thank you.

Yes I had the same problem as you are having now. I have tried many excercises myself but one that I can recommend are the simple squats, possibly with some additional weight held in your hands. The weight can be common weights or a steel bar held behind your neck to support your back. The one consideration you have to be aware of when doing squats with any kind of a weight: it is very important that the weight is distributed equally between both sides of your body or else it can cause damage to your spine. For the beginning it is not recommended that you take any extra weight. What you need to have in mind is not to give up if you don’t see any results in a short period of time. Results are usually visible after few months of regular excercise. Also what you need to consider is regular jogging and diets to help you reduce body weight, without that any excercise aimed at shaping your butt won't make any sense because the fat will only keep on piling up on your butt. If you have any further questions you can talk to a professional fitness trainer or even your general practice doctor. Good luck.
