I am 31 years old, in my eighth month of pregnancy. Unfortunately, before I got pregnant. I got infected with CMV. From my personal experience, I can confirm that this is a seriously hard condition. With pregnancy and under CMV infection, a big number of condyloms emerged on my vagina. My question is – can I have a normal, vaginal delivery?
I know that the standard, vaginal delivery is something most doctors would offer, but in your case there is something better and that would be c section. CMV infection is a dangerous condition, with over 80 serotypes which can be malign. They can even pass through placenta and infect the baby. That could be fatal for the baby.
