I was told by my shoulder doctor that I may now have CRPS. The pain in my arm is getting worse since a second surgery on my arm for bursitis about a month and 1/2 ago. During the year and four months between my first and second surgery I was probably given five or six cortisone shots. The last two cortisone shots just made things extremely worse. I was wondering if the cortisone could have caused weakening of tendons and softening of cartilage that in turn aggravated the situation and lead to CRPS.
