My grandson (10) has had the stomach flu for 6 days the first day he was brought to the ospital and teated for dehydration twice, diarrhea continued visited Dr was told he would feel better in a couple of days. Last night he started vomiting and diarrhea . It was fowl smelling and green . Both the vomit and the diarrhea. He is also experiencing abdominal pain. He is currently back in hospital lost 5 lbs. and is suspected of having C-Diff. Could you please explain the Causes, diagnosis ,treatment and prognisis of this? Thank you

Wikipedia.com has a great definition of this disease. I suggest you look there for all of your information; it's long, clear and concise.

Ask your grandson's doctor if taking probiotics, such as acidophilus would help him. It sounds like this is something he really needs.
