Calcium deposits on baby's liver detected in ultrasound

My daughter is 26 weeks pregnant and two calcium deposits have been detected on the baby's liver. Her Peri-natologist told her they could be caused by the baby swallowing blood during a 'bleed' she had early in the pregnancy or it could be a symptom of Downs Syndrome. Does anyone have any information or experience with this? My daughter is 29 years old and this is her first pregnancy. Thanks.
