Can Antibiotics Cause Abnormal Liver Results From Tests?

My doctor had given me amoxcillin for throat infection, and next day he had me go do a liver test and it part of it was below normal. I cant tell ya what were they since he didnt give me a sheet to keep. So two weeks later he had me go do another one. Again the results were little more worst I guess than the first one and I was the antibiotics. I had like one beer during this time. So I was honest to him that I had a beer during the time I was on antibiotics. And he goes on a rampage about that. So i was justing wondering can Antibiotics cause abnormal liver results from testing? I know Amoxcillin is least harmful, but can it still cause results I'm getting?
