Can Azulfidine cause anemia?

Hello! I have started with treatment which includes Azulfidine. I have heard that this drug can cause anemia. I already have problem with anemia and I am concerned how this will affect on my condition. I really need advice about this and I hope that it will not be a problem for you. Thank you!

Hello! Azulfidine can cause anemia. If you already have anemia problem, then you should inform your doctor about that. Maybe he will try this treatment (with Azulfidine) just to see how affects on you; but I think that he will throw out Azulfidine because it could be risk for your health.
