| okay...well my husband and I have been trying to conceive for over 2 years now...I started clomid last month days 5-9...on the 28th day...no period...so, I went to my regular end of the month check up, and they did a pregnancy test...the test was negative, but the doctor said that I ovulated just as I was supposed to do....but I still have not yet started my period and it is day 30! I dont know what to expect, bc the doctor says that I could "still" be prego, and for me to call her in a couple of days and let her know if I have started my period or not...OMG, I am going insane, literally...My husband and I want this so bad, but I dont want the medicine to screw up my body...ya know? I mean, i still have not yet started my period, and I had a negative pregnancy result, so I really dont know what to do as of right now, besides just sit back and wait....what else can I seriously do? |

I have been trying numerous years to get pregnant and I am on day 32 now, with no period though ever since the Clomid severe cramping. They are taking blood tests every 3 days for the next two weeks to see if my HCG levels increase to indicate pregnancy. Sometimes those urine tests just suck. Ask for a blood test and see if they will test again. because if you are pregnant your HCG levels will increase ten fold as each day passes.

| I had exactly the same experience. I think Clomid will work for those who has no period for 3 months or more. The doctor used Primolut and clomid to make your cycle. But for those who already have a cycle like you and me, clomid do messed up our system. Instead you will take longer to get pregnant because you will need to fix it up or wait to get back to regular cycle that will take 3 months. I went back to my doctor and he gave me Primolut to balance the lack of estrogen in my body. I heard some people have to take 1 cycle of birthcontrol pill to balance out their hormones again. |

| My DH and I have been TCC for 17 months, with no luck. Dr. told us to wait for a year to be concerned because we are both only 27. Finally were tested- my DH's count was perfect- I was diagnosed with PCOS- this was heart wrenching to us both. Started on Clomid at 50 mg and ovulated right away! This was positive for us and got our hopes up. First month, not AF on day 29- one day late. Tried anouther 50 mg this month- fertility monitor said I ovulated. Today is day 27- cramping started last night- no spotting yet- but I just know that it didn't work and that AF is just around the corner. I am just so burnt out and feel like giving up hope. Going to try another month of 50 mg- crossing my fingers and praying that it will work. Any words of encouragement or suggestions from anyone? I just feel like we are never going to have a baby! |

This was our second month on Clomid. My DH and I have TCC for 17 months. Because we are only in our upper 20's my Dr. said to wait until after a year to be tested. When we finally were it was found that I have PCOS This was devestating to me to find out. Started on Clomid at 50 mg and yeah, it made me ovulate- but no baby after the first month. My breasts have gotten bigger and are constantly sore. Have had hot flashes and extreme swings. Am on day 27 of the second month on Clomid and started getting cramps last night- I can feel AF approaching and I am at whits end! I feel like just giving up! Does anyone have any words of encouragement or suggestions?? Help! |

|

Hi Ladies,
I thought I was ok and landed up on Clomid cause I wasn't completeing my cycle. I was suppose to start my period on Sun but nothing happened. I am usually 28 or 29 days and now it's day 31 and no period as yet. Few days leading up to my "period" I noticed that my breasts started swelling and I felt extremely drained and exhausted. I waited the weekend and it's Monday morning now. I went to the loo and all I saw was a little brown spotting but I was waiting for my period. Now I am hoping its pregnancy but not sure if it's the Clomid. Has anyone else been late on Clomid and experinced what I am going through?
Thanks :Pam |

Hi everyone,
Ive been on Clomed for 3 months. 50mg 100mg and 150mg. I have experienced side affects with it but the one that is bothering me the most is the one where Im seeing trailing images from time to time. So called doctor and removed me for a month to see if it dissipates. it is a little and the rest of the side affects are not that bothersome. On the dose of 150mg I did finally ovulate but hpt negitive. But still required to keep trying even with the month off. my periods are very irrigular and last about 34-36 days but are getting sorter each month with this drug. anyone heard of this kind of vision problems before and if so how long did they last? I am very discuraged that I was off of it this month. Im just hoping that my vision will return to normal by next month so I can continue next month. I know it is very hard not to be so consumed in thinking am I pregnant am I pregnant!!!!!!!!!!! It really just makes it worse. wait till you are late by 5 days look forward to this day each month and if you are then take that test. it helps releave the stress and I also have created a pregnancy journal and I keep track of anything that changes and it gives my mind a break a little. You really have to try to stay positive. I want this more than anything in the world. im 34 and this will be my first child. Little steps equal leapes. you just have to get over the little hills to get to the finish line. hope this helps a little and I have been trying since august of last year. good luck to all
