On many occasions, exercises save life and prevent many diseases but if we don’t do it regularly, sudden burst of heavy exercise can cause sudden death.
Heavy exercise may cause our heart to stop and this prevalence is bigger in men than in women. Men are 19 times more likely to suffer sudden deaths from vigorous exertion than women are, however, there is no explanation to this.

Studies that were done before were oriented more on men but the new study looked at the risks of exercise-induced deaths in women.
The study showed that women who exercised regularly had very little risk of suffering sudden cardiac death during exercise while those who were out of shape had bigger chances.

In order to prevent sudden cardiac deaths from happening, doctors advise slow start and taking one step at the time, avoiding doing too much too soon.
