New researches showed that more and more people are coming back to natural remedies in order to improve their health. It was found that certain herbs and dietary supplements can actually relieve the children from nausea, constipation and some other gastrointestinal problems.
Chamomile is one of the most used herbs and it turned out to be the safest. It is being used for abdominal pain. In small amount can be given to infants to treat colic, and it can be combined with peppermint, star anise or fennel for stomachaches, gas, indigestion and bloating for school-age children.
Another popular home remedy is Ginger. It has been used for nausea and dyspepsia.
A further study of herbal products will be conducted and it is recommended to keep good communication with patients, parents and pediatricians.
