Hello, I just found out that I am pregnant 3 weeks. I am excited. I know it is early to know baby’s sex, but I always wanted a girl. Do you know can I ask for specific sex at fertility clinic? I would so love to have baby girl. Is this possible I’ve been told that it has been done before. Thanks

It seems that lot of couples in US want to choose the sex of their child. Sex selection without any medical reason to warrant it was performed in about 10%; however, these cases are different from those done purely for gender preference. Many clinics that offer PGD said they had done so for non-medically related sex selection. Although family balancing seems like a morally persuasive reason to some people, I don’t agree with idea. Think twice!
