Can I fly after Gallbladder surgery?

I have to get my gallbladder removed. But I am having trouble with finding someone to help me after the surgery with my 6 month old son. I am going to florida in April and was thinking that I could do it the day before I leave. So my husband wouldn't have to take time off before we leave since he doesn't have the time to take. I was wondering, If I did it the day before I went to florida. Would it be ok to fly? I was also wondering, I am turning 21 the day I would have my surgery. Would I be allowed to enjoy my birthday?
