My boyfriend and I have been trying to get pregnant for about a year now, but my period is real irregular. Like one month it will be here and then it wont come for 3 months or something like that. But when it does come it last for a long period of time like 12 days. Do you think its possible for us to concieve like this or should I seek medical help?

Even if you weren't really serious in conceiving I would get a physicians opinion. Having such and irregular period could be indiciive of a medical problem. It might be something easily taken care of (such as stress or nutrition problems) or something more sinister. Either way, it can't hurt to have some idea of what is going on and get on the road towards treating it.
