I wonder if you can help me with my problem. Couple of days ago I have injured my knee while driving a bicycle. I have hit a wall, only slightly, but it looks like the injury was not that mild at all. Doctor said that pattelar dislocation happened, but that it will be ok in time and that I just have to be patient. So, can I go running a week after patellar dislocation?

Unfortunately, I have to tell you that you will not be able to run until your knee is at least 80% of what it used to be. You can try earlier, but even though everything might look ok, it would still be an extreme strain for your knee. You must be patient, wait for the healing process to kick in.
