Can I practice yoga through video materials?

Hi, folks. I have a lot of stress on my work and I am thinking of finding a way to release the anxiety. My friend recommended me yoga classes. I must admit that I haven’t got much spare time, so I would like to practice yoga through video materials. Do you recommend this way of learning yoga? Thanks for all your replies.

Hi to you too. Yoga is great for getting rid of anxiety. It is an excellent way to find a harmony between your mind, your body and the surroundings. However, I must admit that I am not for learning yoga through video materials or websites. Nothing can replace a class with your instructor. You can learn a lot from a good instructor. And I don’t mean only physical part, but also yoga philosophy and ethics. I understand that you haven’t got much spare time. Is it possible to find yoga classes near your home or your work, so you won’t need to travel a lot? I hope this is possible. Please, let me know what you did. Good luck!
