Hello. I'm 22 year old female and I'm student of economics. For a long time I have one serious problem that started to interfere with some of my everyday activities.
My biggest problem is that before every major exam or test I got these strange and uncontrollable panic attacks. I really don’t know what is causing them but I know that I panic until I see a professors face and then I freeze. That represented a big problem for me until few days ago professor recommended me some Alprazolam. Can I use this medication or what?
I have used this medication you’ve mentioned many yeas ago and I remember it has helped me to control my panic attacks. So, I'm sure that your professor has gave you one good advice.
Alprazolam is used to treat anxiety disorders and panic attacks.
Not only that, it has been also used for many years to treat some forms of depression.
I believe that it should be used twice a day. It belongs to the group of medication called benzodiazepines.
But, you shouldn’t use this medication until you contact your general practitioner or psychiatrist first!
