Can I use Aciphex to decrease the amount of acid produced in my stomach?

Is aciphex good for the treatment of heartburn? I think that I have developed ceratin digestion problem because very often can feel acid taste in my mouth and pain in gastric area, like gastritis. Can I use aciphex for this? Does it decrease the amount of acid that is being produced in stomach?

I was on aciphex for 8 weeks a year ago. It is generally indicated in the treatment of the heartburn, acid reflux, increased production of stomach acid and is very good. I had severe gastric reflux and my physician prescribed me with aciphex. I would recomend you to have the exam, ultrasound or something before start with medication. I think that it also may be bacterial infection, so other possible causes has to be excluded.
