Can I use Fluvoxamine for phobia treatment?

I’ve been using Paxil as was prescribed by my doctor and was happy until recently when I read about the dangerous side effect of using this drug. I have a heart condition and Paxil could bring on seizures. Before going back to the doctor to change the medication, I would like to hear something about Fluvoxamine as an alternative drug.

Fluvoxamine (trade name Luvox) is a good choice for phobias such as OCD, depression, panic, social phobia. Its side effects are far less problematic for those with heart condition. It is well tolerated antidepressant that is becoming established as an alternative to older drugs in patients with mild, moderate or severe depression.
