My mother has a breast cancer. This illness came suddenly; she felt just a slight pain so she went for a medical exam. It was determined that she has a malign tumor in her left breast. That area was removed, but additional radio therapy must be performed. She has been prescribed with Ondansetron and I would like to ask if that drug can be administrated transdermally?

Ondasetron is a medication that prevents nausea and vomiting that is caused bay use of citostatics or radio therapy. Efficacy of this medication is about 70 80. If the therapy is not effective, some other drugs are added top therapy. Most common ways of applying are oral, or IV infusion. I am not so sure if it can be applied in the way you desire.
