Hi, folks. My husband has been experiencing problems with his nasal cavity. He has enlarged middle turbinates. I have heard something about somnoplasty, but I am not sure if it can be performed on middle turbinates. Can someone tell me if I am right? I will appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Hi, there. As far as I know, somnoplasty cannot be performed on middle turbinates. It is performed on inferior ones. However, I am not sure about this. You should consult an ENT specialist about this. This procedure is efficient for snoring problems and other breathing troubles. I hope your husband could do something. Please, let me know if you find out something new. Good luck with all! Bye!
