Hi
I have been suffering from painful urination for last month and my periods also have not been starting for last month. my doctor had my pregnancy test but it is negetive. he also had UTI test that is also showing negitive but i am still feeling burning and pain during urination and my periods are still delayed. Although I have completed antibiotics course, prescribed by doctor. I want to know, why my periods are delayed. Can urine infections be a cause of delayed menstrual periods? may i be still a pregnant.
Kindly regards,
I am having the same problem...i just had a urinary intract infection for a month now..and my period is delayed....
along side this i have bloating....swollen painful breast..especially my right...feeling very lethargic.....
I performed a pregnancy test at the doctors a week ago and did another one yesterday.
There is a possibility I could be pregnant but very low chance....
Does the urine infection delay periods?
i am very concerned...would be great if someone had some informative information..
only since last year ive been have infections, and today i went again today for the doctor to say i was having a baby, which i know i am not.
i dont know why i get these pains
My period was delayed 6 days. I did two urine pregnancy tests and they were negative (one at the doctor). He diagnosed me with a Urinary tract infection. Confusing part is that 4 days prior to the bleeding starting I had period pain on and off and I have been having progesterone tests on day 21 to track my ovulation cycle. I had ovulated around day 14 mark, but menstruated on day 31 of a 25 day cycle. Getting the blood pregnancy test done now, just in case.
