Can all this sitting add to my neuropathy?

I have been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy about six month ago. Doctor told me that I need to exercise. He put me on healthy diet. I stopped smoking. But sill I have problem. I’m sitting very much during the day. Maybe that is the reason of my problem. Can all this sitting add to my neuropathy?

It can be. If you have this disease, your circulation is very bad. You should do something about that. Try with little exercises on every half an hour. Massage of your feet and legs can help you very much. Try to change you life style completely. Try to be active as much as you can.
