Can anyone tell me how they felt from ribavirin treatment fo

I have to start with ribavirin because was diagnosed hepatitis C. As I know that is very old drug and I’m being worried about its side effects. Is there anything else that is effective in treatment of hepC? Can anyone tell me how they felt from ribavirin treatment for hepatitis? Thanks in advance.

As I know alpha interferon is standard treatment for hepatitis C, and is used along with ribavirin. Ribavirin is one of the first antiviral drugs ever discovered, but as you know there was no such a great development in that area. Side effects of ribavirin include nausea, diarrhea, flu-like condition, fever, anemia, sometimes elevated iron in blood.
