Hello, folks. My friend has been recently diagnosed arrhythmia. We have all heard about this, but we don’t know if arrhythmia can be dangerous. What do you know about this? My friend is not old. He is 29 years old. I would really appreciate if anyone can reply. Thanks in advance.
Hello to you too. In most cases, arrhythmias are not so dangerous. However, smaller number of people does require a treatment. They are especially more dangerous if they are associated with other heart problems. Arrhythmias of lower chambers (ventricles) are more dangerous than those that are located in atria. In any case, a person with arrhythmia must be observed well. Cardiologist will decide about the therapy. There are several sorts of arrhythmias and there are several groups of medicines to take. I hope your friend doesn’t have serious arrhythmia. Good luck!
