Hi, I’ve been using some benzodiazepines for several years, and I think I’m addicted. These drugs are making me irritable, I have ataxia, confusion and vertigo. I am wondering, can benzodiazepines be managed?

Hi, I am barely managing these drugs. They took control over me, and I can’t imagine my life without them. At the other side, benzodiazepines are making my life difficult, and I will have to do something about it. I used lorazepam for some time, and it had strong amnesic effects on me. I became forgetful and confused. I am still maniging to keep the symptoms under control, but I feel like I will need some profetional help really soon. I will have to find a replacement, and I will probably have to cope with withrowal. Benzodiazepines withdrawal is both physical and psychical, so it won’t be easy. All these years of using benzodiazepines, I had no idea how harmful it was.
