Can blood and urine samples detect reason for testicle pain?

There seems to be a small lump on the back of my testicle which is a little painful. Last week and had blood and urine samples taken for my yearly physical examination but no mention of anything wrong. Would these samples detect if there was something wrong? I am wondering, thanks in advance!

Sure, it was a good thing you took the urine and blood tests, I did the same when I suspected something on my testicles.
The painful testicles could be a symptom for some conditions, such as epididymitis or some urinary tract infections. You could do a simple urine test and if some bacteria is detected then urine culture follows, this test should show which bacteria is present and then a doctor could set a right therapy for you. Well, this was like that when I felt the pain in my testicle.
It is important to detect if something is wrong right on time, you will be given the antibiotics if you have some bacterial infection. No worries, if you have no severe pain, I think nothing serious could come out!
