Can body heal itself naturally?

Hi. My friend claims body can heal itself naturally. I say it can`t. You need meds and herbs and therapies. You need doctors when you have wounds, otherwise you will end up infected or something like that. I think body can treat itself when injuries are minor. Can body heal itself naturally?

Of course it can. Your body has its` own healing system. It is called immune system. It protects you from anything in the world that threatens your body and life.
