Can chamomile calm hyperactive children?

Can you give me some information about Chamomile? Can it calm hyperactive children? Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to sedate my kids, but sometimes it looks like it would be much safer for them to be a bit calm. Can you help me out here, is there some other way than using herbal teas?

Well, I don't think that you will be doing anything wrong by giving your kids chamomile. It is not a sedative; it just might help them fall asleep more easily. And it also has some other benefits, including increased cleanliness of the mouth, relieving from stomach problems etc. And it does have a nice taste, so the kids will drink it easily. Generally, a good thing for them.
