Can channel blockers lead to kidney stone formation?

Hello! I have a problem. Namely, I have kidney stones. My friend told me that he heard that channel blockers lead to kidney stone formation and he thinks that I have got my kidney stone because I have taken calcium channel blockers. This sounds like SF to me and I hope that you will be able to explain me this.

Hello! I can tell you that your friend might be right. Namely, in the begging of this year some doctors started to consider this theory. They have done some exams and they have made conclusion that this might be true. Anyway, now it is most important to follow your treatment exactly as your doctor prescribed you.
