My son is having stomach problems and nausea and we cannot determine why. Lab results are yet to come, and some other tests are scheduled for tomorrow, but I can see that he suffers and I do not know how to help him. What can we do? Doctor recommended cyclizine but that looks like a heavy drug for me. Can children, age six years and older take cyclizine (Marezine)?

I know that every medication today has some side effects that make us question their benefit. Still, as far as I know, cyclizine can be used for children, 25 mg half an hour before traveling (I suppose that is the situation his nausea also occurs). Anyway, he should not take more than 75mg per day. That is the maximum.
