Hello! My mother has dementia. We noticed first signs of this illness few months ago. She’s taking all medications that it’s necessary but I’m wondering is something more that we can do. My friend told me that there is certain support groups for dementia patients. Can dementia support groups be helpful?

Hi! I have experience with dementia patients. My grandfather and grandmother had this illness. I tried to be helpful and I spent a lot of times with them. I can tell you that certain support groups for dementia patients can be very helpful. It will be very good for your mother to join in.
