Can diabetics use Zyban?

Hello, I would like to hear some advice regarding use of Zyban. Can diabetics use that medication? My father is 67 years old and has been dealing with diabetes for a decade now. The problem is he increased number of cigarettes daily and I am worried for him. Can Zyban help him?

Zyban is truly an excellent medication for those that want to leave cigarettes but I a not so sure about your father. I mean, this medication can be acquired only by prescription and that means there are some people that should not use it. And I think I have heard that diabetics are in that group along with those who suffer from epilepsy, eating disorders etc.
