Can each insect bite end with Lyme disease

What can you tell me about the Lyme disease? I have heard that it might end up as a serious infection with life long complications. And I need to know if each insect bite can end with a Lyme disease? I am sending my kids to my parents for a month and they live on a ranch with a lot of insects flying around.

I think that you should only be concerned about the deer ticks and only those that are infected and that have bitten your kids. In that case, immediate reaction is the best thing in order to avoid some future problems. But I am certain that your parents, since the live on a farm are fully aware of this possibility and prepared for it. So relax a bit, your kids will have a great time with their grandparents.
