Hello, I am in my second month of pregnancy and even though I considered myself a healthy person, it appears now that I have to deal with dust mite allergy. Since I did not have this condition before, I would like to know id early pregnancy can cause sensitivity to dust mites?
Usually, pregnancy lowers the immune system of a woman because the woman’s body is under a lot of stress and it consumes a lot of energy. Therefore, if there are conditions for dust mite allergy occurring, that will happen. You should try elimination dust mites as much as possible by cleaning and washing often, keeping as less furniture as possible in the house etc. There are some meds that can be used, but since you are pregnant, you might want to consult your doctor about those.
