Hello, folks. I have a neighbor who has been suffering from SLE for years. He was hospitalized yesterday. He had some sort of seizure. I wonder whether it can be epilepsy. Can epilepsy occur in SLE? Is this possible? I would appreciate all your replies. Thank you for replying. Bye, folks!

Hello. This is an interesting case. I really don’t know whether epilepsy and SLE are related. There are some researches which indicate that immune system can have a certain role in epilepsy etiology. Immune system is responsible for SLE appearing as well. In any case, this combination is very serious. I really don’t know what to tell you more. You could consult a specialist about this. Good luck! Bye!
