A friend of mine has been diagnosed with herpes zoster and he had that distinctive rash on the chest and a bit on the neck too. I have also heard that this might happen to the eye too. Can herpes really occur on that spot too? Does it have any additional danger there because of the position?

Yes, herpes can emerge in that area and yes, it can cause some really unwanted problems. And those are all related to the vision disorders and damaging the eye structure. That is why herpes should be dealt with quickly and effectively, before any complications happen. And no matter where it is on the body.
