If he hasn't experienced any form of sexual contact, it's extremely, extremely unlikely that he might have an STD.

If he has had sexual contact, I'd advise both of you to get checked. Honestly, it's not so bad - both myself and my boyfriend had previously been virgins in our prior relationships, with people who were also virgins, but when we got together we decided it'd be better just to be absolutely sure, so we got tested. Both negative, I'm on the pill, so all clear!
