Can laser treatment help with vitiligo?

I think that I will have to deal with vitiligo now. I am 24 years old and areas affected are not big but they are there and my girlfriend doesn’t like them. Neither do I, so I guess I will try to do something about it. Can laser treatment help with vitiligo? I know there are cosmetic products and medicaments but I guess I don’t believe in those.

There is an operation that includes laser ablation and melanocytes transplantation. It has been done for the first time three years ago on several people that had vitiligo. It was a success, but only for a certain period of time and that differed from patient to patent. I think that you could try with some meds first before turning to laser treatment.
